WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Neal Dunn, M.D. (FL-02), released the following statement after final passage of the fiscal year 2018 congressional budget resolution:
“Passing this budget is the critical next step to cut taxes and jumpstart the economy for the American people.” said Dr. Dunn. “I expect the House to move swiftly to consider reform legislation that cuts taxes and simplifies the code for the middle class. Our plan will help create jobs by leveling the playing field for American workers. We will shrink the IRS and bring it under control. Let’s get to work.”
A local shoe repair business is standing tall after an American flag was vandalized outside their store.
The flag outside of McGraw's Shoe Repair was vandalized when cigarette holes appeared to be burned into it.
After hearing about the story on NewsChannel 7, members of the community reached out, eventually reaching all the way to the capitol and to the offices of Congressman Neal Dunn.
The congressman presented McGraw's with a new flag. That new flag had just flown over the United States Capitol.
United States Congressman Neal Dunn made a stop at Cottondale High School Wednesday morning to make a special donation.
Dunn greeted the students and teachers as they lined the school's halls.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Neal Dunn, M.D. (FL-02), issued the following statement after passage of the House budget resolution, H. Con. Res. 71, Building A Better America.
H. Con. Res. 71 balances the budget within 10 years without raising taxes. It will achieve $6.5 trillion in total deficit reduction over the next 10 years and also produce a $9 billion surplus in the fiscal year 2027. Importantly, Dr. Dunn noted, passing this budget is procedurally necessary for Congress to cut middle-class taxes this year.
