WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Neal Dunn (Florida-02) released the following statement after being asked to serve as the Vice Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health. The Health Subcommittee is the primary Congressional body responsible for healthcare policy and conducts oversight of the vast American healthcare system.

“I’m honored to serve as Vice Chair of the crucial Health Subcommittee and am grateful for the confidence placed in me by Chairman-elect Guthrie,” said Congressman Dunn. “I look forward to collaborating with the Chairman-elect and the entire Health Subcommittee to deliver on the promises we’ve made to the American people and improve public health across our nation.”

Congressman Dunn has served on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Health Subcommittee for the past four years. He will serve alongside incoming Subcommittee Chair Earl “Buddy” Carter (GA-01) for the duration of the 119th Congress.
