United States Congressman Neal Dunn made a stop at Cottondale High School Wednesday morning to make a special donation.

Dunn greeted the students and teachers as they lined the school's halls.

The Congressman donated close to 50 books ranging from fiction to text books.

The books are actually from the Library of Congress.

Dunn's wife picked out the books for the middle and high school level.

"We probably have set aside, in our office in Washington and Tallahassee, we probably have 10,000 books," Dunn said. "We give them out to the schools all across the 19 counties that make up the district."

Following his trip to Cottondale High School, Congressman Dunn also made stops at Chipola College and the Marianna Rotary Club.
