Congressman Neal Dunn (Florida-02) released the following statement after voting against the Further Additional Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act (H.R. 2872).

“Simply continuing to extend the Democrats’ wasteful spending is not responsible. Late last year I supported giving our new leadership sufficient time to get our appropriations process going, but time is up. We have a crisis at our southern border that I saw firsthand just weeks ago, and continuing resolutions do nothing except encourage the same failed policies. Congress cannot keep kicking the can down the road. I owe it to Florida’s Second Congressional District to demand we do our jobs.”
