WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Neal Dunn (Florida-02) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed H.R. 5860, a continuing appropriations bill that would fund the government through November 17th, 2023.

“Today, I chose to support our military, contractors, and families already grappling with sky-high inflation as a result of Bidenomics,” said Congressman Dunn. “While a continuing resolution was not the solution I hoped for, it does include disaster funding that’s critical for Florida’s Second Congressional District. I will work with House Republicans towards a fully-funded government in the next 45 days.”

Background:

H.R. 5860 passed 335-91 in the House of Representatives. This bill includes $16 billion in supplemental funding for disaster relief and an extension of the National Flood Insurance Program. It does not include pay raises for Members of Congress or additional funding for Ukraine.
