WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Neal Dunn, M.D. (Florida-02) released a statement following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s impassioned plea to Congress for greater assistance in their fight for survival against Russia.

“Vladimir Putin is viciously attacking civilians throughout Ukraine, including maternity hospitals and schools where hundreds of women and children have been killed. He calls this ‘liberation,’ but it’s genocide, plain and simple. The United States must help the Ukrainian people. Our country fought for its own freedom and sovereignty many years ago, it’s time for the U.S. to answer President Zelenskyy’s pleas and provide resources that are critical to defending Ukraine against Russia’s invasion.”
